Lyrics
POOPIN' AND CRYIN'
Early in the morning and I’m heeding natures call,
In a truck stop south of Phoenix bored with the writing on the wall.
I check my social media and see a video about a dog,
And suddenly tears fill my eyes as I’m pushing out a log.
I was poopin’ and cryin’, poopin and cryin’.
Poopin’ and cryin’, poopin’ and cryin'.
Then I heard a voice in the stall next door to me,
he asked me if I was ok, I assured him I would be.
He said don't be ashamed ‘cause I’ve been in your shoes,
and those sad YouTube videos give everyone the blues.
And leave us poopin' and cryin', poopin' and cryin'.
Poopin' and cryin',
there just ain't no denyin',
I both smell and feel like I'm dyin',
Poopin' and cryin', poopin' and cryin'.
poopin' and cryin', poopin' and cryin'.
I pulled myself together and went to the truck stop restaurant,
and i perused the menu to decide just what I'd want.
Habanero deep fried chicken and Jalapeño poppers please,
the waitress took my order and then she tried to warn me.
That I'd be poopin' and cryin', poopin' and cryin.
Poopin' and cryin', poopin and cryin'.
Poopin' and cryin',
there just ain't no denyin',
I both smell and feel like I'm dyin',
Poopin' and cryin', poopin' and cryin'.
poopin' and cryin', poopin' and cryin'.
